New Poem: Summer's Rain

Summer's Rain.
June 20, 2009
Written by Mary Dang

We all expect Summer to be a waterless season.
Because it's hot? Could that be the reason?
We go out in our shorts and short sleeves shirts.
And some of the girls would go out in mini skirts.
Even if the sun is not shining.
We never expect the clouds to be whining.
No one is expected to carry an umbrella.
No man will be covering his Cinderella.
Then bits of drops from the sky.
Comes crashing down and we ask why?
We run in circles and flee.
A perfect way to ruin an outside shopping spree.
Our day ends by shivering into our blankets.
Next day we wake up sneezing, but we'll make it.
It's just our careless acts that causes our throat pain.
Or maybe it's just the Summer's rain.

I want to publish a book full of my poems before high school. Does anyone know how to start out? :D

4 more poems. I'll post another one today. :] Maybe.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIAHUAN! You're finally 16!
:D!
